The Mistletoe Promise Reviews-Mistletoe Promise Best Movie Ever! The Mistletoe Promise Poster

I loved this Hallmark movie! It was cleavery written and was not predictable. I am a married woman, however, I loved this story line, which seemed real and very possible. The actors in this movie are awesome! I would like to see more of these two in more Hallmark movies. Thank you, Hallmark for your movies and story lines. Your movies are warm and makes you think reflect about life and how you can help others!

A Dream of Christmas Review-A Dream Worth Watching- Good Lead RolesA Dream of Christmas Poster

By-gehewe

The movie has a bit of fantasy in it which added to its appeal. The story was very good and well done. The lead actress was very good as was the lead actor (I saw him in Dashing through the Snow- he was much better here). I especially liked the role of the personal assistant in this movie.

There it is a simple story with a few lead actors and some supporting actors and we have some success. I think they did a good job at defining the attraction of the lead actress. I would probably not mind watching this one again. My wife dozed a few times on this one but she was very tired. They did a good job.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year Review-A new addition to my annual list of favorites!See the source image

This movie is for you if you like pure romantic fluff in a Christmas setting. I personally love these type of movies so I loved this one. It’s complete escapism for me but I’m also a romantic at heart. This one will definitely go in to my annual rotation and, if it does come out on video, I’ll be purchasing it.

With these type of movies, the romantic leads don’t always have chemistry but Brooke Burns and Warren Christie have boatloads of it. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that Warren is one of the best looking men I’ve seen in a while 🙂 The story is cute and uncomplicated – The Uncle of an impossibly beautiful single mom (Jen) shares a flight with an impossibly beautiful guy (Morgan) in his 30’s who can’t seem to settle down in one place (read: very full Passport). Several snow storms and canceled flights later, the Uncle convinces his niece to allow the “stranger” to stay with them “for just one night” until the airport re-opens. One night turns in to 2, etc, due to some finagling by the uncle who is convinced that Morgan is good for his niece. He is considerate, kind, helpful with household chores, and is wonderful with her son. He really helps Jen to find the “Christmas Spirit” so to speak. Not helping matters is that Jen has a boyfriend who is a self-centered jerk complete with $800 shoes and completely stuck-up parents. He is awful with her son and is responsible for the plot point that eventually drives Morgan and Jen together.

Yes, it’s predictable. Yes, it’s “fluffy”. But, in all reality, that’s what makes it an enjoyable movie for me. I love romance movies anyway and I really love those that are set during Christmas. If you feel the same way, and aren’t looking for anything more out of it, you will love this movie.

Christmas Under Wraps Review-Christmas Under Wraps PosterComfortable Christmas Movie

By rizdek

I enjoyed this movie for the interspersed humor, beautiful scenery, interaction of the main actors and mostly because it was relaxing to watch. I watch movies like this to relax and NOT be jarred out of a calm mood and this one succeeded. The overall concept wasn’t original, and for the most part the end was predictable, so if you want surprises, this probably isn’t for you. But for me, overall, the movie worked.

The Christmas Card Review-One of my favorite movies! The Christmas Card Poster

By Doveoflove85

When I saw the advertisements for this movie I said to myself, “That looks SO sappy” But the night it showed, my mom and I were sitting in the living room watching TV and ended up on the Hallmark channel and watching “The Christmas Card”. We were immediately caught up in the story and couldn’t wait to see the ending, even though it ended at 1:30 a.m. This has to be my all time favorite Hallmark movie and in my Top 3 favorite movies of all time. I kept saying through out the movie to my mom, “Why can’t all guys be Cody Cullen!?” I thought everyone did a wonderful job at acting. I loved the way the creators made the two old guys(Ed Asner and Peter Jason) the matchmakers. If you watch this movie you’ll want to be apart of the Spelmen family, in a warm, cozy enviorment(where it actually snows in California) in the adorable small town of Nevada City.

Let It Snow Review-FUN MOVIELet It Snow Poster

Alan Thicke’s corporation has bought the Snow Valley resort from its third generation and sends his daughter, Candace Cameron Bure, to survey it. She arrives in the middle of its Christmas season and finds love with both Jesse Hutch and the idea of Christmas in this Hallmark Channel seasonal romantic comedy.

It’s a nicely written movie. Mr. Hutch is oppressed by four generations of tradition, including an elaborate series of events and recipes and even regular family guests which must be rigorously followed, with no room for the changes he wants to make. Ms. Bure feels rootless and enchanted by the order and beauty she sees about her. Add in some quite lovely camera-work of the snow-drenched landscape near Vancouver, and you have a fine holiday romcom.

Crown for Christmas Review-Definitely one of the better ones!Crown for Christmas Poster

Like another review said, this is one of the better ones. I always know what I’m getting with a Hallmark movie. Even still, this movie presented the formula well. The chemistry between the main couple is really good. Also, I appreciate that the English accents were real! ::I’m looking at you Sam Page:: I’ve watched this one every year since its release.

A Christmas Detour Review-Movie grows upon youA Christmas Detour Poster

By jonathanrspalding

I have to say the first time I watched this movie I did not love it. I thought it was okay, at best. The next Christmas season I gave it another chance and appreciated it a lot more. These movies are advertised as romantic/comedies. However, often the comedy is forgotten. I thought this movie was really funny in parts, though I can’t say I particularly enjoyed all of the banter from the old married couple. It, as it must in this type of movie, tied all the plot strings in the last ten minutes which felt kind of rushed. While I don’t think this movie is as good as other Candace Cameron movies it is better than the average Halmark movie. If you haven’t seen it yet, give it a try in 2017.

A Very Merry Mix-Up Review-

A Very Merry Mix-Up Poster
A charming, if predictable, holiday romance.

Alicia Witt, as a sweet and artsy semi-ditz happily running her family’s antique store, is engaged to a polished, money-focused, big-city real-estate salesman.

Through a series of cute travel mishaps on her way to meet his family for the first time, she ends up at the wrong house a couple of days before Christmas. That warm, happy family, by a credulity-stretching coincidence, welcomes and cherishes her in their extremely – but tastefully – decorated home. Of course they have a very nice son who falls for her, and shares interests and values that aren’t on her fiancé’s radar.

Complications, emotional struggles, and a happy resolution ensue.

Apart from that one weak plot coincidence to get her into the family, and the general niceness of both men when the chips are down, the only thing that annoyed me was the heroine’s little speech at the end, in which she declaimed about a character issue that was not well set up.

A Christmas Kiss Review-

TV movies get a bad rap in America. Dismissed as trite, cheesy, and predictable, as well as the haven of “has-been” actors, this respectable medium is neglected by Hollywood and audiences. For an original film, with a mix of veteran (Elisabeth Rohm of Law and Order & Angel and Brendan Fehr of Roswell & Bones) and new actors (lead Laura Breckenridge), the acting is convincing and the production qualities are surprisingly high. Best of all, the script balances the romantic elements with touching humor and the warmth of Christmas without dinging the aforementioned criticisms of the made-for-television movie. This was a pleasant way to pass two hours of my night, and for those who seek romantic films with plenty of heart, believable romantic development, and doesn’t use strong physical attraction as a shortcut to love, A Christmas Kiss is highly recommended.

Christmas Incorporated Review-

By WineAndCheesyChristmas Incorporated Poster

This movie is adorable and the chemistry is totally there! Despite having a bias for anything Andrew Walker, this movie completely delivered. It was cute, sweet, not entirely predictable, and my husband wasn’t making puking faces at me the entire movie. As long as you don’t think through the actual logistics of the movie, you will like it. Andrew does a great, believable bah humbug character and Shenae Grimes-Beech is adorable, like always. Although it follows a typical Hallmark movie story line, it still feels fresh and new!

Favorite line: “You can’t cut me off from Christmas ornaments!!”
